I can't wait for the Summer months and being able to venture into nature and fields. I love photographing in fields as it gives such a natural feel to your wedding photos even when I get bitten to within an inch of my life!

Sunset Wedding Photography

I love a good sunset! 

This time of year can be great for wedding photos, it maybe cold and possibly wet or even snowing but if you get a chance for a photo with a sunset I would always say to go for it!

These sunset photos were taken at The Fleece Countryside Inn in Halifax and also Wentbridge House Hotel in Pontefract. As a Yorkshire wedding photography I love to visit these wedding venues for wedding photography.

The different styles of Wedding Photography I do.

On your wedding day, I don't stick to one type of photography. I like to provide you with a mix of natural and more formal moments throughout your wedding day. 

If you want to have a bit of fun on your wedding day I am up for that too! If you would like your photography to be more natural with less formal that is not a problem either, just let me know what you would prefer.

What do we do if it rains?

I quite often have couples ask 'what do we do if it rains?' and my answer is always the same, we do what we have planned but with a few tweaks. 

This could mean that we do your group shots inside your wedding venue or even in a nice doorway and I always recommend to get a couple of clear umbrellas that we can use for outdoor photos with the newly weds!

Lets talk about Confetti

Let's talk about Confetti! I know that a few wedding venues don't allow confetti but if you can have it at your wedding venue, definitely do it and I would recommend getting as much as you can! A walk through confetti is lots of fun to do, it gets your guests really involved in your day and gives you some amazing photos too!

This confetti tunnel was from Charlotte and Aaron's wedding day at Thorpe Park Hotel in Leeds and they definitely went with the more is more attitude when it came to the confetti and the photos look epic!

Holmfirth Vineyard Wedding Photography

Here is a look at Hayley and Liam's wedding day at Holmfirth Vineyard. This was my first visit to Holmfirth Vineyard for wedding photography and it is a lovely wedding venue to photograph at.

My day started with bridal preparations and some groom preparations before the wedding ceremony which was filled with lots of lovely moments. After the wedding ceremony it was time for the family group wedding photographs and also some fun with the bridal party wedding photographs.

Hayley and Liam were happy to try lots of wedding photography ideas and the photos are just stunning, the sunset was just spectacular that day and made some beautiful wedding photographs at Holmfirth Vineyard.

The rest of the day was filled lots of natural wedding photography to capture all the moments from Hayley and Liam's wedding day before I took my leave after the first dance.
