Waterton Park Hotel Winter Wedding Photography

This wedding saw me return to Waterton Park Hotel Wakefield for wedding photography, I visit Waterton Park lots through the year for wedding photography and quite a lot of the time it is in Winter. The weather for this wedding was very atmospheric with lots of mist which looks great to the eye but isn't always the best for wedding photography as you can struggle to see what you are shooting!

My day started with the bride and her preparations at Walton Hall before meeting up with groom and his men who are in the army which means they get to wear some great uniform! From there it was time for the bride to make her entrance into the wedding ceremony which was filled with some lovely moments. After this we made our way across the bridge for the confetti then back we went to the island for the family group wedding photographs and the bride and groom wedding photography. Once the wedding breakfast and speeches were completed it was time for the night shots which are something that Winter weddings have over Summer weddings!
